Lora Valley (in the deep - deep deep - south) is a family farm surrounded by rolling hills, rivers and a backdrop of native bush. It’s also home to 7500 sheep that grow a fleece with characteristics that make their wool a premium natural fibre for creating luxury bedroom essentials, and the inspiration behind Lora & Flok.
We're Tom and Nicola Wylie, the owner / operators of Lora Valley where Nicola's family have been caring for the stock and land for the past 150 years.
Keen to add value and traceability to our wool in a way that would see more Kiwi's enjoying its many benefits - we turned to the items within our home for inspiration.
Bedding ticked all the boxes (who doesn’t love sleep?!), so we decided to engineer our wool into our unique Flok Fill & Flok Web to create a range of bedding essentials that could perform better than the rest. Bedding that wasn't just soft, supportive & sustainable, but encouraged a deeper and more restorative sleep.
The result is a small but powerful lineup of everyday luxuries we’re proud to stand behind — made with NZ wool (a truly incredible fibre) from our very own flock.
